    The UNICEF Internship Programme offers qualified and eligible students at both Headquarters (HQ) and Country Offices (CO) the unique opportunity to acquire direct practical experience in UNICEF's work and the United Nations system under the direct supervision of experienced UNICEF staff.
    To be considered for this internship with UNICEF, applicants must meet the following requirements:
    • be enrolled in a degree programme in a undergraduate or graduate school; and
    • be proficient in English; and
    • have excellent academic performance as demonstrated by recent university or institution records
    Purpose of the internship:
    As part of its global talent management strategy, UNICEF launched worldwide recruitment campaign in order to populate different groups of talents.
    Under the supervision of the HR Officer, the intern will:
    • Support the design, administration and implementation of an extensive recruitment and selection campaign for UNICEF’s Recruitment campaign.
    • Assist in the creation of a data analysis including statistics and graphs on the application process.
    • Assist the team in the coordination of the recruitment campaign, including organization of assessments, interviews, write-up of the recruitment reports.
    Preferred start date: 1 June 2017, minimum duration 4 months, extension possible.
    We are flexible on the part time / full time status. Interested students should indicate their preference and possible start date in the cover letter.
    Qualifications:
    • A first-level university degree in human resources management, business or public administration, social sciences, or related field.
    • Fluency in English is required. Fluency in another official UN language is an asset.
    • Knowledge of relevant computer systems and applications; excellent knowledge of MS Office is required.
    • Experience in the field of Human Resources Management, in particular, outreach, recruitment and talent management is an asset.
