About Your Job:
As Cargo Sales & Services Executive, you will ensure optimum utilization of cargo Capacity on QR Flights through efficient cargo planning and pricing while ensuring a quality customer service
Your key accountabilities are:
- Interact via telephone with customers in order to answer their queries and provide them with rate quotations
- Actively hunt for cargo via telesales in order to ensure a full optimization of the capacity available
- Supervise the team of Senior cargo Sales & Services Agents
- Plan and strategize selling activities to ensure optimum revenues for QR in coordination with the Sales Team and Head Office departments
- Contribute to achieving maximum cargo sales to meet / exceed annual revenue targets by providing excellent cargo customer service and operations support
- Provide customer service functions including interaction with customers and GHA for QR Cargo shipments
- Ensure full compliance at all times with safety and security regulations, and with internal QR Cargo requirements, processes and regulations
- Manage reservations and bookings based on available capacity, and action the requests (calls, emails and telexes) in a timely fashion
- Coordinate between Airport cargo operations, GHA and outstations for shipments requiring special handling / attention to ensure smooth movement of cargo
- Monitor cargo movements and pro-actively inform customers in case of irregularity
About You:
To join our team in this role, you will need to hold a Bachelor Degree or equivalent. You will have a minimum of 5 year-experience in the Cargo / Air Freight Industry (or which 2 years in a similar role)
Your MS Office Skills must be at an advanced level and you must have excellent communication and negotiation skills. You must have an excellent command of written and spoken English, and currently be legally eligible to live and work in France.
You should have knowledge of IATA/TACT regulations, basic cargo handling, DGR and live animal regulation. Knowledge in Cargo sales will be an added advantage
