Job Overview
IDRC’s Governance and Justice Program funds research that addresses development challenges posed by insecurity, injustice, and the abuse of power. We support evidence-based research that helps citizens and public authorities address the sources of conflict, violence, and poor governance in a gender sensitive manner. The result is a better understanding of how institutions and practices can be made more effective and accountable to the populations they serve.
As the Program Management Officer, working closely with the Program Leader, you will contribute to the development and operation of the Program. This includes playing a key coordination role to produce, communicate and disseminate program information in support of program management. Your principal responsibilities will include information management, research support, program coordination, monitoring and evaluation, communications and network development, and liaising with key internal and external constituents.
